THE FIRST SUBERB, with great grace and skill, looks into the physical actions and the ways of operating man-like mannequins.Every move, every gesture the mannequin makes, even the smallest one, requires the operators do a series of complexed motions and actions to mimic the human body.
With virtuous precision and silence, the abstract stage actions lead us in to the deep meanings and thoughts that stand in the base of an action.
THE TIMIDITY OF BONES takes the viewer to an Astonishing journey in the symbols of the human body. Behind a bright white screen, different body part appear: nose, limbs, backbone and elbows create beautiful carvings of buried cultures that disappear In a flash and then appear again on the white fabric, un physical forms that leave nothing behind.
PATHOSFORMEL is a performing art project made by Daniel Blanga-Gubbay and
Paola Villani and considered to be one of the leading visual theater groups in Italy. Their work is distinctive for its originality, variegation, and the debts of an idea.
One of their main motives is the perfect reconstruction of visual actions and symbols from the mechanical world, by operators using nothing but their bodies.
The group's fascinating creations have earned them several distinctive theater awards, such as the UBU for TIMIDITY OF BONES in 2008.
